Summer school (yearly)

Every summer holidays we create a musical in a week open to everybody, working on vocals drama and dance including some special guest teachers.

HOLIDAY MINI AND MAIN WORKSHOPS

(February h/t, Easter, June h/t, Summer holiday summer school, October h/t, Christmas holiday)

Jade and Gemma run extensive song, dance & drama workshops in each holiday. Focusing on a theme such as Paw Patrol for the Little Gems or School of Rock for the Juniors and Seniors.

Occasionally guest teachers are invited in with speciality skills

COMPETITIONS (all year)

Join Jewel Performing Arts’ Comp team to receive private classes to learn individually choreographed pieces or a troupe performance

Jewel School Show (bi-annual)

From our Little Gems to our Diamond adults, Jewel creates a matinee and evening performance filled with dance, song and musical theatre for everybody’s entertainment. A fantastic opportunity for the whole school to showcase their talents.

TAPATHON yearly (November)

Raising money for Children in need by purchasing the official t shirt and learning this years routine, tapping the same dance across the country to aim for a world record!

DANCEATHON bi-annual (Easter)

The whole school are asked to be sponsored and dance for a full 2 hours non- stop, (less for the younger ones) for this years charity choice.

Previous years we have raised over £20k for charities such as Stand up to Cancer and Louis Bishop Tree of Hope.

CROWBOROUGH CARNIVAL (September)

Jewel Performing Arts are asked to perform a few numbers on Chapel Green in the afternoon and the best part, dance on or along with the Jewel ‘bus’ (float) in the evening. Lots of fun!

CHILDRENS SONG & DANCE PARTIES

Choose a theme, a musical, favourite band or movie and we will plan a personalised party for your Child.

ADULT DANCE PARTIES

Usually slightly more alcohol fuelled and so much fun! Past parties have included themes such as: Thriller, Country, LMFAO, at events like milestone birthdays, wedding dances, hen parties and corporate events.

SCHOOL AND VILLAGE FETES

Jewel Performing Arts are available to showcase some class pieces for local schools and village fetes on non-show years.

ISTD grade examinations in Tap, Modern and Ballet are available. Dates to be confirmed.
